Subscribers to Modo's ERCOT forecast have access to our scenario data books: annual data summarizing key outputs from the production-cost model.
Output data
Generation outputs
Generation levels corresponding to the optimal system dispatch are a key output of the model and describe how to meet system load at the lowest cost. The graphic below shows this output, aggregated by fuel type for a sample week in the forecast.
Power prices
15-minute zonal prices are calculated as the marginal cost of delivering an additional MWh in each modeled zone. The graphic below shows a sample week of pricing in the forecast.
Output databook
All data in the scenario databook is aggregated from raw model outputs to an annual granularity.
